CAD Engineer

As a CAD Engineer at Tillen you provide exceptional value to our clients by developing and maintaining the integrity of our 3D designs. You start with the basic design and develop it into a detailed design by following the design checklists relevant to the industry we operate in. Active communication and interdisciplinary collaboration are important to deliver the optimal final product to our clients. You ensure the quality and proper setup of production drawings and 3D models, which serve as the final deliverables.

With the final CAD models, you prepare the technical drawings in collaboration with the Design Engineer and ensure that the checking workflow is followed once the final drawings are set up. You process the results of the checks and provide the project owner with the final deliverables. Keeping up with the latest production methods and CAD skills is what helps you grow into your role. You will be a part of the Design Department, working closely with your colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes.

• MBO or HBO level of thinking and working;
• At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role;
• Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, NX) and experience with 2D CAD software (AutoCAD, DraftSight);
• Experience in creating technical drawings for the fabrication of mechanical steel structures;
• Good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing;
• Willingness to work in a team, ability to work accurately, clear communication skills (SMART), and ability to work with planning and deadlines.
